Had to walk at least a half mile + from bus stop to pier. Could not find any signs to the boat and had to change bus even for the same route. Very disappointed.

We went over weekend, couldn't see anything from top of bus as the plastic windows were filthy. Found staff very unhelpful and rude to deal with. Times of boat departing are incorrect on websites FYI.

So, we did a great holiday to Budapest, how to see the sights well a hop on bus. We booked this online as you do, this day and age. So Thursday morning comes, bacon sandwich eaten off to the bus. We walk past a hop off bus counter and asked there the local bus stop is. Was brilliant when the guy started moaning at us for buying the tickets online and not thought him as he dosent get a commission, and why should he help as we bought the tickets online. Like I did point out to him you are the same company and online prices are good, but nope 10mins later he still wanted to argue rather then give us a map. So we watched a bus pull up around the corner and decided to wait there. (Cheers mate in booth) Got on the bus well, no seat avaliable standing room only. Was actually pleased when the day was overEvery city I go to I get a hop on hop off bus to see everywhere, this is brilliant. Every city I go to I get a hop on hop off bus to see everywhere, this is brilliant. I’ll take you through my experience, the buses aren’t great, they could be cleaner and they could have better audio, half the jacks have xs on them and no audio, the drivers aren’t very friendly or informative, they hardly ever announce which stop you’re at and I just didn’t really like the bus side. If you find your way to dock 6 then the tour on the boat is good, again the boat could be cleaner and staff could be friendlier but I’d recommend doing the boat tour as night. We got he specialised package so we also got the Waking tour, mark, you were amazing!! I’ve included a photo of him, he doesn’t mind, find mark! The most knowledgeable, informative, best your guide ever, walking tour from basilica and round pest, saw the shoes and ended up The Parliament building, takes about an hour and a half. So all in all worth it.Excellent was of seeing the sights of Budapest. There are 20 stops available at which you can get off and on at your leisure. If I have one complaint it would be that on stop number nine the driver took a break which lasted about 40 minutes. We did the same stop yesterday and it was only 20 minutes. The weather was great yesterday so it was fine. Today it rained and every passenger stayed on the bus which was full. Other than that we used a 48 hour pass which was ideal for us. We also did the 50 minute Danube boat trip yesterday which was included with the ticket. When visiting a new city my husband and I often do Hop on Hop off so we can get a sense of the city, it has always been great experience. When visiting a new city my husband and I often do Hop on Hop off so we can get a sense of the city, it has always been great experience. The buses, (we were on two), were dirty, with dirty windows and much of the window space was covered in advertising, so it made seeing out even more difficult. I would not recommend this activity to my friends.
