What to expect
Visit: Dukes Dock Liverpool, Gower St, Liverpool L3 4AS, UK
From Gower Street, our live tour guide will welcome you on board. We begin our journey, making our way through the city and exploring Liverpool’s many prominent and historic attractions. This includes our two stunning cathedrals - the Liverpool Cathedral and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King.
We will then whisk you away through the leafy suburbs and on to the home of the Fab Four! You will see Ringo Starr’s hometown, as well as Paul McCartney and John Lennon’s childhood homes – all alongside a fascinating commentary on Beatles history.
We will also stop at Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, where you are invited to alight the bus. We encourage you to take a closer look and get a priceless photo beneath the ‘blue suburban skies’ (our friendly staff will be happy to take these for you).
Finally, we head back to the city centre along our extensive dock system, where you will hear all about the great River Mersey.

Four of us went on the Beatles bus tour and had a great time. Chris and Silky were brilliant throughout, really good with information and entertainment. Great fun, jokes, singing, the trip had it all. Well worth it.

My partner and myself went to Liverpool for my birthday. First time in Liverpool. My partner and myself went to Liverpool for my birthday. First time in Liverpool. We did the illegal eagles concert on the Monday, which was fantastic, and did the Mersey cruise on the Tuesday, again another fantastic experience. Before we left Glasgow, I booked the Beatles and city bus tour for Thursday the 5th of may. We had to be at the pick up point at 10.15an, as the bus left at 10.30am. It was however a bit later leaving, because tail Enders arriving a bit later. This was another fantastic experience. The guy who was our guide on the bus was really great, and knew his stuff. I think his name was jimmy, he wore a flat kind of cap. He was a bit of a joker, and when we were at penny lane, he took photos for us all. Back on the bus, he did a few songs from the Beatles, pretty good wee singer as well. Would definitely recommend this trip. As for the hop on hop of red route, we’ll that was really disappointing, but we’ll leave that for another review. Had a great tour, and the weather was nice on that day. PS watch out for the trees, as normal, when upstairs on an open top bus. 10 out of 10 for the jokes, music and the overall tour, and the driver was excellent as well..AmyHN21

HANDS DOWN THE BEST TOUR. Honestly, what a fantastic experience and trip. If you’re looking for a tour of the city then look no further, this is 100% the one for you!! We chose the BLUE ROUTE, which combines the City and Beatles tour. As a group of 14, it’s usually hard to book together and get placed with each other but we were looked after so well from the start - booking process all the way to boarding. SMOGGY, our wonderful driver and TONY the funniest tour guide you’ll ever meet. By far the nicest chaps you’ll find in Liverpool. They are what makes this tour!!! From Great tour info, facts and classic one liners. To showing you the hidden gems and taking cracking photos. They are so helpful and more than happy to take all your photos - getting you all the best shots and angles. As a group of 14 women we take a lot, they didn’t moan once. Thank you so much for making our weekend. The buses are clean and comfortable- what more do you want. Highly recommend to everyone.
