Joining Discover Richmond Tours means exploring Church Hill in a unique way. You will sample delicious food and snacks from up to 5 different restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, possibly including wood-fired pastries, classic Richmond comfort food, authentic Ethiopian Fare, and more! You’ll learn about the birthplace of Richmond and it’s heroes, and hear how our partner merchants got their start. But most of all, we’ll make sure you have fun doing it.
Be sure to bring water and comfortable shoes – we’ll be standing at most of our stops, and we’ll be in and out too quickly for water and other beverages to be served.

Every stop had delicious food or drink. My favorite was the pain au chocolate from Sub Rosa and my husband’s was the pork chile verde hand pie from Proper Pie. So good! We will definitely try one of the other tours!

The final stop for a wine tasting where we tried 2 wines. The pour for the red wine was so embarrassingly minimal.... We have been to MANY wine tastings in Napa and Europe and there is always ...
It was very expensive for a 2 hour food tour that had 5 stops...all but one were stand outside stops. The final stop for a wine tasting where we tried 2 wines. The pour for the red wine was so embarrassingly minimal.... We have been to MANY wine tastings in Napa and Europe and there is always much more information offered as well as many more wines offered. Usually the tasting fee is waived if you purchase wine and I know that there were a number of us that purchased wine.Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m pregnant so a couple of things had to be modified for me. I was glad it was able to be done without a lot of hassle. We enjoyed the food too.
