Chumphon Pinnacle-Koh Tao 2 dive trip for certified divers
Overview
For this trip we do our first dive at famous Chumphon Pinnacle. Our second dive for the day will be at Koh Tao.
Your day will start with us picking you up at your hotel approximately 7:00 am. We will take you to the pier where you can enjoy some light breakfast and coffee/tea and meet Discovery Divers Team.
The boat will leave the pier at 8:00 am. It takes approximately 85 minutes by speedboat to reach the best dive site of Koh Tao.
Upon completion of the second dive the boat will return to Koh Samui, and you will be back at your resort around 3:30 pm.

This is a day trip by speedboat for diving and snorkeling. All diver and snorkeling levels are welcome on this trip. Diving and snorkeling equipment will be provide

I did 2 dive trips with them - I had recently gotten certified as an open water diver, and wanted to get some good diving in koh tao done before leaving thailand. The staff was friendly and kind, very professional and helpful. The boat they took us out on was comfortable, fast, and not too rocky or bumpy at all - I just fell asleep on the way to the dive sites. They provided water, soft drinks, and beer throughout the boat ride, and they would hand deliver the drinks to you so you dont even have to get out of your seat . I did the chumphon pinnacle dive and the general koh tao dive - both were great, but chumphon pinnacle was phenomenal, so seriously book it! The dive master guided us through the water and pointed out sting Ray's, eels, and more. Giant fields of anenomes. The dive master had us do safety stops and checked in on us frequently while underwater, so you are safe and in good hands.They set up all the dive equipment for us, and the boat hands helped every step of the way getting on equipment and providing any help you needed. They also took underwater photos of us and shared them with us for free after. They served us a really delicious lunch of thai curry chicken with veggies and rice on the boat. They made sure you were comfortable throughout the whole trip and treat you really well :) they also provide sea sickness tablets if you need it. The lunch and drinks on the boat were perfect as well and they were very helpfull when some of the people got seasick. Our instructor Senya was also extremely patient and helpful. Chumpon was beautiful, boat trip was pleasant apart from the inevitable bumpiness on the speed boat. Lunch was nice and beer was provided end of day. We all had a great time! Highly recommend learning/ going diving with them if you’re in Koh Samui!What a great experience. Die Discovery Divers zeichnen sich durch ihre sehr professionellen Tauchlehrer (aus China, Frankreich, UK, Malaysia,..) aus und bitten ein exzellenten Service! Dieser beginnt bereits beim Pick Up vom Hotel und zieht sich durch den ganzen Tauchausflug fort. Zu den verschiedenen Tauchzielen rund um Koh Tao gelangt man mit einem Top Speed Boot (ca. 1,5 Std.) und dadurch erspart man sich einer etwaige längere Boot Anreise! Auf den Speed Boot gibt es fortlaufend und ausreichend Wasser , Softgetränke (Coca Cola, Eistee etc.) und auch ein Mittagessen ist inkludiert. Während der Tauchgängen werden Fotos von der Unterwasserwelt und den Taucher gemacht, die man anschließend kostenlos Downloaden kann - absolute Top Service! Ich kann diese Tauchbasis sowohl Anfänger aber auch Fortgeschrittenen sehr empfehlen! Die Tauchgänge folgen individuell und mit einen eigenen Tauchlehrer. TOP TAUCHBASIS ! I dived with Discovery Divers for three days (six dives) over a week in May. I'm a qualified Advanced Open Water diver, but hadn't dived for a while and was in need of a refresher session. Instructor, Filip was allocated to take on this task and he was great. He was professional and approachable throughout, tailoring the instruction to my needs. I followed up the rest of the week with six dives, all of which were hugely enjoyable. The visibility wasn't amazing but we spent the time exploring the smaller things on the corals and it was as rewarding as seeing bigger animals. The boats used were clean and fast with plenty of fresh water and efficient staff (and good lunches). Very good if, like me, a big ,wallowy dhow-type boat would make you feel sick. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.
