What to expect
Itinerary
Very early in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel, and we will go to the south side of Puno, until reach the peninsula of Chucuito. Located 11 miles from the city and with an altitude of 3, 871 m.a.s.l., this district has main attractions such as temples, squares and viewpoints with stunning views to the Lake Titicaca.
Our guide will make a security briefing, and then, the tour starts biking in a 4-hour journey with beautiful views of Lake Titicaca. Passing through different villages, we will finally arrive at a family house to enjoy a lovely Andean lunch. Here, we are going to learn about the local traditions.
We will continue along the lake bay, where you will enjoy views of the islands of Taquile and Amantaní. The adventure ends visiting the “Fertility Temple”, also known as Inca Uyo, Aymara words that means “Incan virile member”.
Later, we are going to back to Puno, and drop you off at your hotel.

Additional information
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Infants must sit on laps
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- You should bring sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and clothes, spending cash for personal expenses
- This activity is not recommended for children 8 and younger
- Puno has an average altitude of 3, 800 m.s.n.m, so we recommend prior acclimatization to make the excursion.
- It is the passenger's responsibility to wear a protective mask and maintain social distance, in case they do not respect the basic safety measures they will be asked to leave the tour. The maximum capacity of the services will be reduced in order to guarantee social isolation.

Ce fut une balade très intéressante et riche en culture ! Le repas était délicieux tant pour les yeux que pour les papilles .... C'est une excursion à faire !

Cette balade a vélo était pour moi le meilleur moyen d'apprécier la péninsule de Chucuito et les rives du lac Titicaca, en découvrant ses paysages mais surtout ses communautés agricoles, leurs traditions et façons de vivre.

Wunderschoene Radtour durch eine unglaubliche Natur. Der Titicacasee stand schon lange auf meiner Reiselist und ich bin froh es endliche geschafft zu haben. Fuer mich ist das Erkunden mit dem Fahrrad die beste Art, um sich in der Natur zu bewegen. Ich empfehle diesen Ausflug waermstens.
