Christmas & New Year Opera Concerts
Overview
The musical program includes classics of Italian opera (arias and duets) by greats such as Puccini and Verdi, classics of the romantic virtuoso piano repertoire like Liszt and Chopin, Neapolitan songs and the greatest Christmas songs.
We are the only tourists concert season run by professionals: pianist Giovanni Velluti and tenor Alessandro Fantini.
We perform only with piano accompaniment because in all major theaters in the world the standard is with orchestra or piano. No string quartets and anything like that!
Our hall allows only 80 people: the audience feel like taking part to a private concert.
Immediately after the concert, you will have the opportunity to meet the artists drinking Prosecco in the pleasant setting of a free Christmas Aperitivo.
The concert take place in St. Andrews of Scotland, in via Venti Settembre 7, a few meters from the Quirinale Palace.

What to expect
There are few things more beautiful than Christmas in Rome, and you can make your sacred holiday in the Eternal City even more unforgettable with a special Christmas Concert.
The musical program includes classics of Italian opera (arias and duets), high points from the romantic piano repertoire, some Neapolitan songs and, of course, the greatest Christmas songs. The programme will dazzle you with celebrated out takes from classic opera works by greats such as Puccini and Verdi as well as from the catalogues of piano virtuosos like Liszt and Chopin.
Our Christmas concerts are truly a unique experience because our hall allows only 80 people and the audience feel like taking part to a private concert. Performers are just feet from the spectators.
Immediately after the impressive concert, you will have the opportunity to meet the artists drinking Prosecco in the pleasant setting of a free Christmas Aperitivo, a small reception to round off your evening in a quintessentially Italian way.

And the atmosphere was so familiar, so warm. We are very glad that the Covid 19 did not squeeze them out ! Very much recommended experience. Ormai da anni partecipo ai concerti del M° Giovanni Velluti, cos'altro potrei aggiungere alla mia valutazione? La grandissima soddisfazione di poter nuovamente partecipare a questi eventi come questo dopo il triste, ma necessario, periodo delle chiusure. Bravissimi gli artisti, impeccabili le esecuzioni del M° Giovanni Velluti, in particolare di un brano che amo particolarmente la polacca op 53, n 6 "Eroica" di Chopin. Il mio augurio per l'anno appena iniziato è che tutto possa riprendere nel migliore dei modi e si possa tornare alla normalità.In questo momento difficile e con tante privazioni, ho avuto il piacere di assistere al concerto del 27 dicembre 2021 in un luogo fantastico e molto accogliente. In questo momento difficile e con tante privazioni, ho avuto il piacere di assistere al concerto del 27 dicembre 2021 in un luogo fantastico e molto accogliente. Una serata all’insegna della spensieratezza e della serenità. Gli artisti con le loro voci mi hanno emozionato, il programma ben curato con brani di opere liriche celebri ed il Maestro Giovanni Velluti che li accompagna in modo impeccabile. Inoltre non posso che fare i complimenti al pianista per i brani eseguiti con grande trasporto e che fanno vibrare il cuore soprattutto ad una appassionata di musica come me. Complimenti a tutti per la bravura, ma anche per il faticoso lavoro che vi è dietro una tale organizzazione. Se avete la possibilità, non mancate di assistere ad un concerto di questi stupendi artisti, trascorrerete una serata davvero molto piacevole, esperienza da vivere assolutamente. Pegamos um taxi e descemos no endereço que estava no ticket. O Lugar onde mostrava no mapa era um prédio abandonado próximo da Ponte Castelo St’ Angelo. Andamos na rua em frente ao Castelo e não encontramos o número. Fiquei muito chateada e frustrada. Procuramos na proximidade mas os números aumentavam e de repente diminuiam. Fiquei realmente inconformada.Esperienza gratificante per lo spirito e per l’udito. Bella l’atmosfera, superba l’esecuzione dei prezzi e soprattutto un ambiente molto accogliente. Super-disponibili anche gli artisti nell’intrattenersi con il pubblico alla fine del concerto. Consigliatissimo!!!
