Chorro Whitewater Rafting
Overview
The “Chorro” section of the Naranjo River has Class IV and V rapids, for those of you looking for a more intense rafting expirence. Here we will run some of the best and most challenging rapids available in Costa Rica. Exploding water, steep drops, tight rock walls, and technical routes will get your adrenaline pumping. We will ride through the narrow canyons surrounded by huge boulders, and cascading waterfalls while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the rainforest, making this unique whitewater rafting experience the highlight of your Costa Rica vacation! This trip is recommended for individuals in strong physical condition!
The tour is approx 4.5 hours from start to finish with approx 1.5 hours in the water.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Amigos Del Rio, Km 2 on the road to Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio, Quepos Costa Rica
We will pick you up from your hotel or house in Manuel Antonio or Quepos, bring you to our office to get you signed in and have breakfast. Then we will depart to the river which is about a 35 minute drive. Once we arrive at the river put in, you will be outfitted with a life jacket, helmet and paddle. The guides will give a safety talk, and you will have a swim practice. The descent down the river is approx 1.5 hours. After the rafting is over, you will ride in our transport back to our Amigos Del Rio office where lunch will be served, and then you will be dropped off at your hotel.

- Minimum age is 15 years
- Recommended for guests in good physical condition
- What to Bring: swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes, tennis shoes or sandals with ankle straps. No flip flops.
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.
- A minimum of 4 people per booking is required for the 11:30AM tour.
- A maximum of 10 people per booking
- Largest lifejacket fits a size 52" chest
- Travelers should have a strong physical fitness level
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 12 hours of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability

This trip was perfect. Moises was a little strict about safety rules but he was very fun and funny, he made it a great experience. He also taught us a lot about the different trees and birds. We had a blast!!! The crew was amazing!! And no one fell off the raft!! This was my second time going white water rafting and this time was definitely way more fun!

Amazing experience. Have been whitewater rafting all over and this by far had the best guides. Raul was the best, super funny and always kept the adventure going. 1000% recommendation for anyone interested.
