Stop At: Wat Phra Singh, Singharat Road Phra Sing Subdistrict, Chiang Mai Thailand
We’ll start off with an easy and smooth hotel pick-up before proceeding to our first stop, the Wat Phra Singh, known for its classic northern Thai or Lanna design. It is undoubtedly the city’s finest temple, with lavish monastic buildings and immaculately trimmed grounds.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara, 103 Phra Pok Klao Road Phra Singh, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand
We’ll then make our way to the beloved Wat Chedi Luang – a temple that has bested the damage done by a 16th-century earthquake (or Burmese cannon…?). Its towering, ruined Lanna-style chedi is much taller than Phra Singh’s, set in a powerfully atmospheric compound.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Wat Chiang Man, 171 Ratchapakhinai Rd, Si Phum, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand
Next, we head to Wat Chiang Man, where we’ll hear about Phaya Mengrai – none other than Chiang Mai’s founder. He established this temple, the city’s oldest, back in 1296.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Wat Suan Dok, On Suthep Road, west of the Old City, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand
Finally, we’ll visit Wat Suan Dok, which is a Royal Temple of the Third Class. After covering the quintessential monuments with our local expert, we’ll bring you back to your hotel just in time for your next meal!

A big thank you to Mit who made this morning so interesting and enjoyable. Each temple had its own beauty and history and Mit was a never ending source of information - both factual history and folklore. No question went unanswered. A truly rememberable experience and highly recommended.
