Day 2: Chemka Day tour
Stop At: Tanzania Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari from Arusha and Moshi with AFRICA NATURAL TOURS LTD, P.O BOX 4050, Usa River, Arusha 4050 Tanzania
We’ll pick you up from your Moshi hotel early morning for the hour-long drive to the Chemka Hot Springs. The road is very bumpy and windy, so hang on! During the drive, don’t forget to enjoy the wonderful scenery and authentic Tanzanian life as it unfolds along the road.
When we arrive, you’re free to be you. Linger at the edge of the springs, taking in the blue, blue waters and the lush green of the surrounding forest. Take a leisurely swim (don’t forget that the waters are very warm, so you won’t feel like an Olympic sprint) or float in a world that’s all your own, listening to the water lapping and the birds overhead. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not play on the rope swing? Playing isn’t just for kids!
Eat your lunch in the shade of the trees or, if you’re a sun bunny, find a hot spot all your own. You’ve plenty of time to spot the wildlife that also enjoy the Chemka Hot Springs.

We had the most incredible 5 day adventure with Jackson through the amazing Safaris-r-us team. Jackson was so welcoming from the start and had so much knowledge to share with us! Everyday he made sure that we saw so many animals and we had so much fun! The places we stayed were incredible, they were actually so much more deluxe than our hotels before the safari!! It was the most amazing experience of our lives and we were so thankful that we got to experience it all with Jackson. He was always first to get to the incredible big 5 and made sure we had the most perfect viewing angle. He had so much respect for the animals, the culture and Tanzania as a whole and we learnt so much from him. We will never forget the time we spent on our safari; the professionalism, determination and genuine care to ensure we had an amazing time was so special and our future dinners without Jackson will be infinitely more boring. Thank you for an amazing trip! For our first trip to Africa we asked Gemma and her team at Safaris-R-us to put together an itinerary. We had the most amazing time and everything went like clockwork. For our first trip to Africa we asked Gemma and her team at Safaris-R-us to put together an itinerary. We had the most amazing time and everything went like clockwork. As soon as this wretched COVID-19 is over, get on over to Tanzania. It is a beautiful country with beautiful people who will desperately need the tourist industry to re-activate ASAP. We started with a couple of days at the School of St Jude in Arusha. They welcome visitors with open arms and provide an insight into daily life for the students who all come from very poor backgrounds. (Have a peak at the school's website and even better, give them a donation). After the school visit, we flew to central Serengeti and was met by our guide Jackson who has the uncanny ability to find animals where we could see none! Amazing accommodation, brilliant daily safaris all customised for our family of three. We also visited Ngorongoro Crater (really interesting) and then Zanzibar. Tours of the old spice town and then time at the beach (Z Hotel - gorgeous). We also added a trip to Victoria Falls and Botswana. This was all arranged by Safaris-R-us even though we used different safari companies in Zimbabwe and Botswana. Again, everything went smoothly and we had the holiday of a life time. The falls are really impressive (especially from the helicopter ride!). Safaris-R-us have a lot of experience in African travel and it showed. Do not hesitate using this firm - you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Gemma and SRU team.Myself and a good friend have recently returned from an incredibly memorable safari with this amazing Company. Myself and a good friend have recently returned from an incredibly memorable safari with this amazing Company. From our first email to them to inquire about booking, until our guide dropped us off at our Motel following the Safari, they were professional, easy to deal with and had exceptional service. Our Guide, Jackson went above and beyond to find the Big 5 for us as well as so many other animals. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, supportive and attended to our every need. The vehicle, accommodation and food were all fantastic. If you are looking for a Safari Company that goes the extra mile and is genuinely interested in ensuring you have the best time ever, then Safaris-R-Us are the Company for you.We had another amazing experience in Tanzania with the wonderful safari tour organised by Safaris-R-US! We had another amazing experience in Tanzania with the wonderful safari tour organised by Safaris-R-US! This has been our 4th visit to the region and it still manages to surprise and amaze us! With our trusty guide, Walter, we had an adventure! The wet season still occurring we had some mud to evade, but eventually, when we did get stuck, we are so proud of the safari guides that seek you out and lend a hand to get you going again. They are a wonderful bunch of people! Every time we have been on safari we come back with new and wonderful stories to tell.I have been using Safaris-R-Us for over 10 years to run safaris for my Kilimanjaro climbing groups and I have alway found the staff to be very responsive, knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be with. I highly recommend them as they make the whole experience very enjoyable.

Safaris-r-Us organised an amazing 6 days safari to Lake Manyara, The Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Zanzibar...our guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We saw the big five many times over!!! The accommodations were set in magnificent surroundings and the food offered really varied and delicious. The safari was extremely well organised. I can recommend Safaris-r-Us...cannot wait to return in a few years...bring a camera as the Iphone is good for sceneries but not sufficient for taking animals. The Serengeti was very dry and very dusty you may want to bring a mask or a scarf for the dust...
