Beautiful tour of the city and cathedral, visit to large champagne house was terrific (although disappointed the one advertised was closed that day), followed by visits to two smaller houses. Our guide was delightful and very informative. Lunch great. Nightly recommend the tour!

Our guide Dorothee was knowledgeable, interesting, fun and very professional. I especially enjoyed the variety of a large champagne house, and two small family operations including a wonderful lunch in a small village.

We toured in an 8 passenger van with a lovely group of English speakers from Australia and the US. Our guide, Raphael, was engaging, entertaining, and very well informed. Rainy, cold unusal weather day, but enjoyed very much nonetheless and we were able to do and see everything on the tour with no problems. Great stop at Reims Cathedral with history lesson and lots of information. Had our fill of champagne tastings at Veuve Cliquot and others , as well as a delightfully delicious lunch at a small “house” and a terrific tour of a family champagne estate, Didier Chopin, which was a highlight for us. Monsieur Chopin is a terrific host and is truly a master of all things “champagne”. Well worth our tour fee and time! Spent a day of our honeymoon on this mini-van tour with 6 others. We had a great time learning about the process of champagne-making - although a bit repetitive info provided at each location. Despite a communication error for our pickup at the train station in Reims, we owe Raphael a huge thanks because he ensured that we got to where we needed to be without missing a beat. It was not an exceptional lunch (would give it 3/5) or an extravagant tasting experience (e.g., Veuve tasting in the gift shop); however, our guide Melanie was fun and the journey through Veuve and small champagne wineries was educational. I’d recommend dressing warmly, since most of your time is spent in cold cellars. There are 7 champagnes for tasting: only one is at VCP, three are paired with the meal, and three are tasted at the family domain (the most fun of all three in our opinion).Highly recommend this tour! We got to taste champagne from smaller champagne houses as well as a larger one on top of soaking in the beauty of Reims and surrounds. Our host Dorothee was lovely, so friendly and knowledgeable. It was definitely the highlight of our trip to France
