Cesarine: Market Tour & Cooking Class at Local's Home in Lucca
Overview
During the lesson the Cesarina will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic regional recipes. Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test. Each participant will have a workstation equipped with utensils and all the ingredients to make the dishes. Then, taste everything you have prepared accompanied by a selection of red and white local wines.

My day visiting the Lucca shops and market and cooking with Carla was my best day in Lucca. She was very knowledgeable, a great cook, a patient teacher and a wonderful host. It was fantastic to be able to go into her home and cook with her. We did so much,a great ragu and home made pasta some amazing chicken liver pate, crostini and tiramisu to finish off. I also learnt a lot just in general conversation so if you do this experience ask questions. Carla treated me to some wonderful very cold Italian prosecco. Silvia was delightful, warm, friendly, patient, great sense of humor! It was my birthday and she greeted me with the most amazing bouquet of flowers! It was fun going to the local markets, and we enjoyed helping in the kitchen and learning to make the dishes which were all fabulous. We drank some wine, and even danced! Her home was very warm and welcoming. I recommend this trip! We had a party of 5 and everyone loved it! Please have the recipes emailed to me, would love to recreate!This was such a fun experience.
