Cesarine: Home Cooking Class & Meal with a Local in Brindisi
Overview
During the lesson the local home cook will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic Brindisi recipes. Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test. Each participant will have a workstation equipped with utensils and all the ingredients to make the dishes. Then, taste everything you have prepared accompanied by a selection of red and white local wines.
This experience is held by Cesarine: Italy’s oldest network of 1000+ home cooks all over the country in more than 500 cities. They are passionate and welcoming hosts that open the doors of their own homes to curious travellers for immersive culinary experiences.

- Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

We also made the dessert, a tiramisu, which was wayyy better than the one we make at home... Our hosts were amazing and very welcoming, they were great to talk to and very good at explaining the steps of our cooking...

We had a lovely evening with them and it felt like visiting old friends despite meeting them for the first time. I greatly recommend the experience!This was an absolute highlight of our trip! Mimma and her husband were the perfect hosts! We really felt like apart of her family. The food was simple to follow and delicious! I can’t wait to make this food at home with my kids. Thank you for the perfect night! In my opinion this is a must do!

First they welcomed us with aperitifs, then taught us how to make three different types of pasta (and sauce), and then we got to eat our creations. A truly authentic experience!We begonnen na een zeer hartelijk ontvangst met het plukken van verse onbespoten groente uit hun eigen tuin. Alles werd goed uitgelegd door de gastvrouw en de gastheer hielp met vertalen en schonk heerlijke drankjes. De ‘Sunset’ vanaf hun terras was prachtig.
We begonnen na een zeer hartelijk ontvangst met het plukken van verse onbespoten groente uit hun eigen tuin. Alles werd goed uitgelegd door de gastvrouw en de gastheer hielp met vertalen en schonk heerlijke drankjes. De ‘Sunset’ vanaf hun terras was prachtig.
