Our hosts were Carla and Fabio who are excellent chefs. It was wonderful to visit a home just outside the city of Ferrara. It was a delicious meal prepared by our hosts with local favorite recipes and unique preparations including Pinzini which is a dough that puffs like a pillow when cooked. We cut it open and filled it with wonderful salami, ham and cheese. The homemade pasta was some of the best I had ever experienced in Italy.
