The bridge crosses the lake and depending on the season, you may be surrounded by picturesque fall foliage, spring blooms, or—if you’re doing a December proposal—a blanket of snow.

It covers 106 acres (43 ha) and holds over 1, 000, 000, 000 US gallons (3, 800, 000 m3) of water.

The stop was chosen due to its proximity to John Lennon's NYC home, the Dakota Apartments, which is located just across Central Park West. There is a plaque embedded in one of the boulders along the pathway leading to the mosaic. It lists the 121 countries who endorse Strawberry Fields as a garden of peace.

But the couple we were with had never been to Central Park so we did take this pedicab.. These two guys are simply amazing. They were very funny, informative and know the history of the park extremely well. They stop along the way giving you picture options.. It was an amazing value and I would highly seek these two out and have the time of your life. Thanks again guys We wil come back for sure..This was a great guided trip through Central Park. My daughter, her friend and I took the 1 hour Central Park pedicab from Plaza Hotel. Our rider was friendly, very knowledgeable and easy going. He took the time to show us all the famous buildings, landmarks and vistas and gave us interesting background info on each site. We stopped a few times to get out and take photos in front of some of the iconic fountains, bridges and vistas. The photos he took of us were much better than the ones we took ourselves! It was a great way to tour Central Park and I highly recommend this company.We had the best time. We never felt rushed.
