Was just an average experience. The cave is a decent experience but our tour guide was below average. I think with a different guide (plenty we saw) we could have finished the cave tour in half the time. Other guides were working hard in pulling the tunes in right direction and ours stayed on his tube more than half the time letting us go with the flow (and often stuck when no flow). We did like the food on the way back.Barry and Abder were absolutely amazing. This was the highlight of our trip and it was so exciting to hike up and go into the caves. Buy a wet pouch if you want to take photos, I had my phone get wet and ruined (my fault) so make sure you protect it. It was a great experience with some delicious Belize food after. We found the tour easy with the directions given but make sure you get those tender boats early, the tour did leave some guests who had to catch up with us later on. We were back at the cruise terminal in time for our ship all aboard time!Abner was the driver for our transportation and when we arrived at the site we were split in to two groups, the kayaking group (which Abner went with) and our group which was Nady. Abner was the driver for our transportation and when we arrived at the site we were split in to two groups, the kayaking group (which Abner went with) and our group which was Nady. Nady was an EXCELLENT guide! You start out by being equipped with a helmet that fits to size and a life jacket. You do NOT carry your tube to the river, they are inflated and given to you AT THE RIVER (the other groups make you carry your tube). Next comes the 'walk'. Yes - it is a pretty long walk and the terrain is a bit rough. We had water shoes that supposedly had thick enough soles - not the case. This is a mild to rocky walk. PLEASE invest in good shoes. FYI - they DO rent and SELL shoes at the site so that is an option. The river water felt cold at first but on a hot day this is pretty near paradise. Once to the river we coasted along only having to lift our butts every so often. I am a big guy and this was my concern - NO WORRIES - BIG GUYS CAN DO THIS! Would I recommend this? Absolutely. Would I do it again? Absolutely. The caves are beautiful. This is adventurous and relaxing all in one.My sister and I did the cave tubing tour at Jagaur Paw. My sister and I did the cave tubing tour at Jagaur Paw. We had a pleasant hour drive to the park with Kent from Sir Young Royal Tours. Kent was very nice and knowledgeable about Belize. Once we arrived at the park, Kent explained to us how the cave tubing tour would go and he directed us to where we needed to go. The cave tubing tour was an awesome experience! I would highly recommend it. After the cave tubing tour, Kent drove us to the manmade beach, Kukumba. Kent waited for us for 2 hours whlie we enjoyed the water and relaxed on the beach.
