Our tour was exceptional - from the professional instruction on the use of the e-bikes to guided tour itself. Flo was patient, informative and willing to be flexible when we wanted to see additional sites. I would highly recommend this experience.

This review is for the e-bike tour departing from Pedego Bikes in Carmel. Even though the start location at Pedego Bikes is not in downtown Carmel, their location off PCH in a shopping center made parking a breeze. They have so many different almost brand new rental e-bikes to choose from, its incredible! (If you desire to rent an ebike for additional time after the tour, the rates are great!) Joaquin did an amazing job of leading our tour. His sense of humor is great, and he is great at storytelling including the history of the area. The tour, which took us to the Carmel Mission, the Mission Ranch, the waterfront including the Frank Lloyd Wright designed home, the “fairy tale cottages,” and around downtown Carmel was spot on. Joaquin included recommendations for dinner, lunch, and desert. We would highly recommend this tour to others.I’ve been to Carmel so many times but have never experienced it as I did with this tour! I’ve been to Carmel so many times but have never experienced it as I did with this tour! Our guide (the owner) was soooo amazing. He gave us little history lessons on some of the iconic houses/buildings which was great. He took such great care of all of us, especially a friend who was new to biking. He made sure everyone was ok and nobody got left behind. He even made videos for us upon request :) All my girlfriends are planning on going again with families now! What a great experience. Highly recommend. Easy to learn, fun to do. The architecture was so cool. Riding along the coast was beautiful. Couldn’t decide where to look. I also loved learning the history of Carmel by the sea. It was perfect all around.

We've had good experiences on bike tours in visits to Mexico City and Berlin - so in researching things to do during a stay south of Santa Cruz I discovered this option. Our family of 4 were not familiar with power bikes, but our tour guide Flo gave us a quick lesson - which is all we needed as the bikes are super easy to adjust to. This tour took us to the Carmel Mission, (Mission closed but we could see the grounds), Mission Ranch (a historic resort saved by Clint Eastwood) and into quaint Carmel neighborhoods and along the coast roads with stops at some historic homes. All in all a great way to start our day.
