Ben did a great job of customizing the tour to the group. He told interesting stories and the food was great. Overall a great experience and a wonderful way to begin or end a vacation. We enjoyed that his speech didn’t seem scripted or the same for every group. He gets to know the group and the socializing over good food was great considering the past few years of Covid hibernation.David was friendly and engaging with excellent information on the history in Carlsbad as we walked from place to place. The food was amazing! We couldn't pick a factor stop. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to the area.

Excellent walking tour of downtown Carlsbad. We 3 seniors thoroughly enjoyed Ben as our guide. The tour shares knowledge of the history of Carlsbad, local artist’s street art and the best the local restaurants have to offer. We visited a donut shop, yogurt/crepe place, taco shop, Italian restaurant, winery & strawberry stand. The portions were generous and my vegetarian diet was accommodated easily. As a native Southern Californian I was delighted to learn about Carlsbad’s history. My favorite history lesson was the water shed. My favorite art was The Alley Art Wall by Snyder. And favorite food stop was Gregorios restaurant where I enjoyed the best eggplant parmigiana ever. Will definitely recommend to friends and look forward to another tour with Ben.How the tour was organized. Italian restaurant, bakery and crepes. Tour guide, Ben was very friendly and knowledgeable.
