At the foot of the Pont-Vieux, on the right bank of the Aude, a facade bears witness to this prosperous period for the city. Former home of a noble Carcassonnaise family, the building was bought in 1694 by someone close to Colbert who founded a cloth factory there. The latter will take the title of Manufacture Royale in 1696. The only building dating from this period, still visible, is the owners' residence. This construction is, in many ways, similar to those of the Lower Town dating from the 18th century.

Quite a fun way to see some of the less obvious parts of the city, both Old and New. I liked how you could pause the game and then lick it up later. I was close to running out of battery on my first day, so picked the game up over 24 hours later very easily.

Quite a fun way to explore the old city and surrounding area. Took us to a couple of places we might not have found, and some of the clues took a bit of solving, though not too difficult! Just two friends doing it together so not actually necessary to have bought two tickets, one would have been enough. But if you want to play competitively then you would need a ticket per team. It doesn't take very long unless you stop for refreshment or a rest here & there! As well as the story for the puzzle solving, there are some interesting history notes provided about things you come across.Cute little way to motivate walking around the city. The preteen/teen crowd was probably a little too cool but adults had a fun time and the puzzles actually had something to do with what you were looking at at the location so that was nice. I liked the history snippets song the way.
