Awesome day trekking through cape range National park with Ian and one other. He took us to see Charles (not Stanley!) knife gorge first which was a lovely little detour. We then got to Yardie creek gorge and began our days trek. Ian is very knowledgable about the local area and the plant life there. The pace was perfect to be able to take in all the surroundings and have a chat while we walked. Ian was very patient and made sure we were all good. The lunch spot was amazing, beautiful views and the peaceful surroundings with some birds for company. I can highly recommend this trek with Ian and am just gutted I did not have more time to do one of the overnight treks. We even went for a quick dip in Sandy bay afterwards. Thank you very much Ian and Preeti for making this such an enjoyable day.Interesting and informative. Lovely cool swim in ocean afterwards:) Nice lunch and refreshments. Haters and walking sticks provided. A great day out

Really enjoyable 1 day hike. Ian was so knowledgeable and passionate about this amazing area and its history, and its local flora and fauna. We saw fruit bats, rock wallabies, wedgetail eagles, ospreys…and even a western brown snake. Refeshing morning and afternoon tea, and a nice lunch under a shady tree. The swim afterwoods at Sandy Beach was divine. Thanks for a great day Ian.Ian is a very knowledgeable guide and planned the perfect day in the park. The views were spectacular although the terrain is rough enough to need to be looking where you put your feet! We saw lots of birds. Ospreys, parakeets, cockatoos and flocks of budgies! Ian is a very knowledgeable guide and planned the perfect day in the park. The views were spectacular although the terrain is rough enough to need to be looking where you put your feet! We saw lots of birds. Ospreys, parakeets, cockatoos and flocks of budgies! Eagle-eyed Ian pointed out several rock wallabies which were really well camouflaged. We even saw a dingo trotting along the side of the road...a first for me! Lunch was fresh and tasty eaten in the shade of a tree and with fabulous views all around. It was pretty hot so we drank a lot of water. Lots of opportunities for photos and even for a swim although I was pretty jetlagged so kept out of the water myself. Apart from on the beach we pretty much had the range to ourselves. The only annoying things were the files, but then this is Australia and so pretty normal. Exceptional day, thank you Ian for being such great company!!We had a fantastic day hiking with trek Ningaloo guided by Ian on a one day trek.
