Canyon Challenge Course
Overview
The Canyon Aerial Course was designed and built by Swiss Alpine engineers to industry standards, including those of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) as well as the specifications and safety standards of the state of Colorado. Participants are secured throughout their experience to the life safety systems using the Bornack Smart Safe Belay (SSB) lanyard system which prevents participants from detaching from the system during transfers from one element to the next while providing participants the freedom to choose their route and move at their own pace. Staff are positioned nearby to offer encouragement and assist if needed.

What to expect
****CHECK-IN IS 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME****
The Canyon Challenge Course complex is an amazing structure tucked into the Lost Canyon. Surrounded by rugged and colorful limestone cliffs, the Canyon Challenge Course consists of more than 120 interconnected “challenge elements” including swinging bridges, cargo nets, balance beams, tunnels and more. It is a high ropes challenge course on steroids with elements ranging from easy to extreme. The 120 elements are broken into 9 course routes. Routes consist of 8-13 elements and are graded much like ski runs.
The Canyon Aerial Course is designed for individuals seeking a physical challenge to test their core strength, balance, agility, flexibility, and physical prowess.

This was by far the best ropes course I've ever seen or done! The staff was helpful and professional. Our guide, Kylie, was funny and friendly. More important, she was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. An all-around great experience!

Very helpful with the gear and safety stuff. They made the day fun for everyone. Got some history along the way. The course is great, with a variety of length and speed. Over the canyon was one of my favorites!! When all was done, we got to share some of mom's brownies with our entire group!! Great day. Everybody should do this!!!This is the second time our family (and also with added friends this time) did the rope park and we had a much better experience this time! This is the second time our family (and also with added friends this time) did the rope park and we had a much better experience this time! Derek and Blake were great guides - they made it fun and we felt totally safe at all times. The last time we did it, we enjoyed the rope park but found the owner to be difficult and he overloaded the number of people doing it. This time, we had 14 total and got to spend more time on the course. It is incredibly fun and physical at the same time. Having the course in the canyon is much more spectacular than a ropes course that is just a platform put up in the middle of nowhere. We drove from Breckenridge, but it was worth the drive!I took the kids (10, 13 and 15) to Captain Zipline for a run on the challenge course and we had a wonderful time! I took the kids (10, 13 and 15) to Captain Zipline for a run on the challenge course and we had a wonderful time! During our road-trip vacation, we did numerous spectacular things including a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, but the kids all agreed that this was their favorite event. Blake and Indy made the experience both safe and enjoyable. They were friendly and personable as well as helpful. The course is laid out with varying degrees of difficulty (similar to snow-skiing: Green Circle, Yellow Triangle, Blue Square, Black Diamond) which allowed us to start off easy and get our feet/balance ready for the tougher courses. Being strapped in with the double-locking carabiner system, we didn't have any apprehension with being 20-30 feet up in the air walking the tightropes and other challenges in this course; it was simply fun, exciting and challenging. We will certainly be returning if/when we're in the Colorado Springs area again. Thanks, Captain Zipline, for letting this Dad knock one out of the park for the kiddos.Excellent adventurous workout! Several levels of courses to choose from challenging your strength and adventure. Blake did a great job of explaining the course and encouraging the participants. My boys (16, 18) had a blast but said after a yellow, two green, a blue, and a black run that “it wa...
Excellent adventurous workout! Several levels of courses to choose from challenging your strength and adventure. Blake did a great job of explaining the course and encouraging the participants. My boys (16, 18) had a blast but said after a yellow, two green, a blue, and a black run that “it was harder than a weight workout.” Would encourage those with an athletic and adventurous spirit to give it a try!
