Stop At: Cai Rang Floating Market, 46 Hai Ba Trung Near Cai Rang Bridge, Can Tho 900000 Vietnam
- At 5:30 AM our guide will pick you up at Hotel
- At 6:00 AM, the bustling sound from the boat engine and people haggling lets you know the market is in its full active mode.
- You will join the local’s daily life activities by having breakfast on the boat. The meal options vary from rice noodles soup to Vietnamese stuffed bread – Banh mi.
- Relax on the boat getting through a green canal and have photogenic pics in the canal. Stop at a local family business to see how to make rice noodles in a traditional way, step by step. Have fun when you try making noodles with your own style!
- Keep going to the unique cacao farm in Can Tho. You can learn how to make chocolate step by step, from fresh fruit to yummy dark chocolate. Sit back, relax and enjoy a chocolate drink, dark chocolate made by Mr. Ca Cao – the owner of the farm.
- Then we will cruise back to the city center with lots of photos and lively memories.

We booked a morning tour of the Cai Rang floating markets in Can Tho. From the moment we engaged with Mekong Smile Tours, the experience was seamless and friendly. We booked the entire thing over Whatsapp, making it so convenient. Our own guide, Nee was the perfect mix of intuitive, friendly, knowledgeable and engaging without being invasive. The tour was great, we watched the sun rise and had a delicious noodle soup for breakfast aboard our small, private boat. We then cruised small canals, visited a traditional rice noodle making house and boarded a pineapple trading boat. Nee took great care of us and ensured our 2 girls, aged 6 and 8 were engaged. I highly recommend Mekong Eyes tour.We had a good guide and wonderful experience in a smaller boat. The larger tourist boats that we saw going past had loud music and were too ig to get in close. We had a great breakfast on the water.
