Overview
Drive along the Cuesta del Obispo, on a road with abundant curves. Take in panoramic views of the Enchanted Valley and small houses surrounded by fields of maize and fruit trees.
By the time you reach the Piedra del Molino you’ll be 3, 384 meters above sea level, the highest point on the trip.
When you arrive in Cachi, you’ll have sweeping views of Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta. In the town of Cachi, you’ll stop to visit the archaeological museum and the church.

What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Tangol, Salta Argentina
Start your tour with a pickup from your centrally located Salta hotel at approximately 7:30am.
Stop At: Valle de Lerma, Region Saltena, Salta Argentina
Then, make your way to the Lerma Valley, traveling until you pass through El Carril.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Los Laureles, Chicoana, Salta Province, Argentina
Once you pass through El Carril, you will continue on to Chicoana. Then, enter the Quebrada de los Laureles, also known as The Laurel's Gorge.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Quebrada del Escoipe, Ruta 33, Salta Argentina
Next, head to the Quebrada de Escoipe, the Escoipe Gorge.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Piedra del Molino, Ruta Provincial 33, Salta Argentina
Continuing with the tour, arrive at the Maray entering The Bishop's Cliff road and travel its abundant curves, enjoying a panoramic view of the Enchanted Valley along the way.
Once you reach Piedra del Molino, The Mill's Stone, you will have reached 3384 meters above sea level.

Stop At: Recta del Tin Tin, Cachi Argentina
Later, Los Candones National Park will be crossed by the straight line of Tin Tin, the ancient road built by Incas.

Stop At: Calle Cacique J Calchaqui, Cachi A4417ASA Argentina
Arrive in Cachi at least and take in the widespread views of the Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta. Make your way into the town to visit the Archaeological Museum and Church.

Stop At: Iglesia de San Jose, Plaza 9 de Julio, Cachi Argentina
Admire the colonial church of Cachi.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Museo Arqueologico Pio Pablo Diaz, Calle Cacique J Calchaqui s/n, Cachi A4417ASA Argentina
Visit Archaeological Museum of Cachi.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: History Museum of the North, Calle Caseros 549, Salta A4400DMK Argentina
Admire the history museum of the north.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Salta, Salta, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
End the tour upon returning back to your Salta accommodations.

We had a lovely experience!! Our tour guide was wonderful, the views were spectacular, and the bus was very comfortable! It’s a lot of time on the bus but seems like the best way to see all of these places in one go! Definitely recommend.

Definitely recommend.Fuimos en auto, alternando tramos de ruta en buen estado y algunos realmente espantosos. Y no confundir ripio , tierra ( cosas que me encantan ) con rutas totalmente poceadas con serruchos y sin señalización. Las vistas en el viaje no son gran cosa ( nada que ver con el viaje a Cafayate ) . Llega...
Fuimos en auto, alternando tramos de ruta en buen estado y algunos realmente espantosos. Y no confundir ripio , tierra ( cosas que me encantan ) con rutas totalmente poceadas con serruchos y sin señalización. Las vistas en el viaje no son gran cosa ( nada que ver con el viaje a Cafayate ) . Llegamos a Cachi a las 16 30 hs del sábado y literalmente TODO cerrado . La fería artesanal cierra a las 15 hs , para comer nada , solo una cafetería y una heladería abierta . Para resaltar , en la cafetería no nos quisieron vender agua para el termo ( No tengo dijo la encargada ja ) . No volvería , para nosotros un día perdido.Una muy buena experiencia fue viajar hasta Cachi... El pueblito es de ensueño y el camino de montaña es muy lindo... Se llega hasta una altura de 3.458 msnm en Piedra del Molino, con unos paisajes a cuál más lindo... atención a los que se apunan.... Muy recomendable....
