Set sail on the stunning waters of the Gold Coast on this exclusive, two-hour lunch and sightseeing cruise, departing from a convenient spot in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Step aboard our luxurious vessel Spirit of Elston, and enjoy one of the best sightseeing and dining experiences on the Gold Coast. Panoramic views from the spacious upper deck showcase some of the city's most famous landmarks - such as the glittering waters of the Gold Coast Broadwater, Sea World, HOTA (Home of the Arts) and the glamorous Palazzo Versace. Satisfy your appetite with an irresistible buffet lunch, including locally sourced king prawns, succulent roast chicken, freshly baked ham off the bone and delicious salads. The waiting staff, in particular Ezebella, were great. Buffet seafood offering was fine however with 70 people on the craft lower deck and masks being mandatory (incl proof of vaccinations) it needs to be enforced in a buffet scenario and it was not. Buffet seafood offering was fine however with 70 people on the craft lower deck and masks being mandatory (incl proof of vaccinations) it needs to be enforced in a buffet scenario and it was not. With people going up to the buffet maskless it’s a turn off and inappropriate. May I suggest individual or table grazing platter options.The dessert option was offered late into the cruise and was basic, even one more choice would have been better served. The Captain was knowledgeable however due to the noise of people talking over him it was difficult at times to catch his comments. Worth a shot if you’re keen on a two hour glide on the beautiful GC waterways perhaps think twice about the buffet unless the mask wearing is enforced.Excellent lunch cruise on the Nerang river and out past SeaWorld and back . The food was excellent. Fresh prawns, mussels , salads and meats . Fantastic view of the riverside mansions and marina with the yachts and boats . Some impressive ones there ! He got to sit in the captains seat and steer the vessel. The buffet was delicious and there was more than enough for everyone on board.
