Lunch at their suggested restaurant was great. Foot tour of Buda was great. Free time was the BEST! Budapest will be a return trip for me when I can stay far more days.

One of my 3 friends had an asthma attack early morning of our trip. We didn’t have an access to a local phone so I was”not able to tell the local office that we”Lo be late. Uber and taxi were not available either at 7am where we were staying. That was our first day in Vienna, but somehow we managed to take the public transportation. Scheduled departure time was 7:15a. The company claimed they left at 7:22a. We arrived at the place at 7:22a I could understand if there”s only one person missing..but there’s four of us. That’s a lot of money to waste. We were in a group tour in Split, Croatia last week and we waited for one person for 35 minutes.Too much driving around the town of Budapest. The tour guides spoke broken English, hard to understand. Had to listen to three different languages . Too much talking, not enough site seeing for such a long ride. Not enough free time.

Tamas did a fantastic job guiding the tour and made it lots of fun. The quiz kept us all on our toes and meant that everyone was paying attention when we stopped to view the sites. It was Childrens Day, so the city was very busy but we still managed to see all the sights and to make our way around without any mishaps. Everyone was a competent rider and the whip did a great job as well. The strudel and drinks provided at the end of the tour was very welcome. Having done a number of city tours this is the first that did not require you to pay for your own refreshments.wonderful sites ad sounds as well as food and pleanty of walking. The trail leader was well informed and the travel methods were very nice and felt like authentic to the area.
