I've never been to Brussels but our tour guide gave us the full rundown of what to expect. He was funny and informative and gave plenty of time to prepare for pictures we may want to take. Would definitely take another day trip with this company.

The old town square is absolutely beautiful with gold accents on the buildings. It was a wonderful day of sight-seeing, shopping and food! You can feel the history in this city and if you take the time to just wander the streets, you'll find wonderful surprises.

The bus trip was not bad and the tour guide was accommodating for those who speak other languages. He pointed out things along the 4 hour ride to brussles from Amsterdam. We first stopped at a large monument that I am still unsure what it is for. We stopped there for 45. There were no places to eat and no other things to look at. To me this was a waste of time because I did not want to pay to go up into the large chemical structure. We then continued into the city of brussles and the guide pointed out interesting buildings, but do to the fact that he was translating 4 different languages, it was difficult to determine what one he was talking about. We then parked the bus and toured around the city. The headsets did not have a language range, with a large group of people, they did not work due to the fact that you had to be very close to the guide. There was an option to venture on your own as long as you were back to the bus on time. This is what my friends and I chose. It was a beautiful city, but I would have rather bought a train ticket and done the tour myselfIt's just that it takes forever get there and back...traffic is crazy on both ends. But Brussels is amazingly beautiful. Guide was knowledgeable but pompous and demeaning.
