Superb half day trip with Free as our guide (and doing most of the hard work). Stunning scenery as we navigated the rapids and floated downstream. I would highly recommend.

This trip was more exciting and more challenging than I expected. My wife and granddaughter (17) and I had never rafted in rapids before and were thinking this would be something like a flume ride and a float. Hardly. We learned a lot about rafting techniques, safety, and thrills. Our guide was very knowledgable and expected us all to do our part. We had to unlearn a lot of kayaking habits and in turn, learned something about an exciting new world. Excellent experience. Excellent guides.Excellent half day trip! Excellent half day trip! We were in great hands with our guide, Free. He gave us a short but thorough safety briefing and ensured we had the right amount of challenge on the rapids while still feeling safe. I also appreciate that he struck the right balance between fun & lively conversation (he shared a lot about the area and pointed out different aspects of the canyon) and also finding times to enjoy the silence. We got lucky - my companion and I were the only two who signed up for the trip. At first I wondered if it would be weird but it ended up being perfect. Would highly recommend.This was an awesome white water rafting experience. It’s a small company, so it almost felt like a private tour of the river. Free was a great guide- he made sure we had fun while also teaching us how to efficiently raft the river. 100% would do it again!
