What to expect
Browns Canyon National Monument on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Limited Group Sizes – Avoid the crowds and raft with us, a medium sized company. Additional trip times added to maintain smaller groups. Private Rafts Available – Request a private raft for your group.

Our guide, Michael C. was funny, fit in nicely with our group of 3 couples and really knew a lot about the river and how to raft safely. We visited on the first day of the season and hoped for The Numbers canyon but the water level was too low. We still had a blast on the intermediate Browns Canyon - the rapids were mild but still super fun. And, it wasn’t as cold as I thought it was going to be, which was a relief. Get the booties though and the wet suit if you’re going in early spring - well worth it. The pictures are great - but if you plan to buy more than two - just buy them all, it’s cheaper and it’s the digital copy so you can share with friends. Thank you Michael C.!! Will definitely be going back.Lucas is by far the steeziest guide at this place. Not only was he great at giving direction, but he also had the best dad jokes and tree knowledge. The way he finessed those turns put us at ease and we all had a blast! It seriously would have been a completely different experience without Lucas....
