I recommend this to anyone with a few hours to spare in Kolkata. The route was interesting, the places we saw and visited a fascinating sample of colonial India and its evolution (and decay in some cases) to the present day. The guide was brilliant - well-informed, articulate, young, patient and friendly. He was responsive to my needs and interests and made the entire experience a delight. Do it!The guide was very knowledgeable but outside of St. John's church and Victoria Memorial, we did not get to see any of the buildings from the inside. It was a bit disappointing for the price point.
