My family are quite experienced at this type of experience and have used a rival company very successfully on a number of occasions. Unfortunately this treasure hunt was not so much fun nor so challenging. The hunt told us where to start but no advice on where to park. We parked in the station car park which was very satisfactory but we struggled to find the start of the trail, as the road we were looking for goes under a tunnel and this wasn’t clear from the map we used on our mobile phone. Once we got started, we were not particularly engaged with the story and it was probably too complicated. Finding a murderer or the place of the treasure would have been easier. The hunt took itself too seriously. On the positive it was a circular trail and took us on the North Lanes where we had never been before.
