We will pick up from your hotel and direct to Setumbu hill close Borobudur temple to witness the breathtaking sunrise between 2 Volcano Merbabu and Merapi Volcano from setumbu hill . and after sunrise trip we will go to Explore Borobudur temple This is one of world's truly great ancient monuments, the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth. We had an early start from our hotel which allowed us to see the sunrise from Borobudur. It was a little cloudy but can’t be helped! Then we had a jam packed day with many of the temples across Yogyakarta and the jeep tour near to Merapi. Atok was really informative and knows a lot about the cit...

Then we had a jam packed day with many of the temples across Yogyakarta and the jeep tour near to Merapi. Atok was really informative and knows a lot about the city and history, he made the day very fun and bought us some snake fruit to try when we said we’d never had it!Nils W

Our driver Yovi picked us up in time at 4am and was super friendly from the beginning. We could ask all the questions about the sights, Indonesian culture. Sadly the sunrise wasn’t the best but we spend the time until opening of Borobudur well at a monastery and additional temple. After sweating ...
Our driver Yovi picked us up in time at 4am and was super friendly from the beginning. We could ask all the questions about the sights, Indonesian culture. Sadly the sunrise wasn’t the best but we spend the time until opening of Borobudur well at a monastery and additional temple. After sweating by the intense sun at Borobudur we made a break for famous Lumak Coffee. We drove to a Jeep tour were we got hit by heavy rainfalls. But it was still fun! After heaving great lunch in a restaurant in rice field we visited Prambanan in normal rain. Yovi borrowed us his umbrellas, which was really friendly. I can fully recommend this trip and Yovi has your guide as he drives safely and speaks English fluently.Fearless180542

Best part of this tour was our driver. He was our guide on the way, giving various information about Java and Indonesia. His English was really good and he was very friendly, driving us around and waiting for us. This was worth the money, we maybe spend extra instead of choosing another company. ...
Best part of this tour was our driver. He was our guide on the way, giving various information about Java and Indonesia. His English was really good and he was very friendly, driving us around and waiting for us. This was worth the money, we maybe spend extra instead of choosing another company. Unfortunately, the view from the sunset-point was cloudy, but we were happy to be one of the first at the Borobodur Temple. So getting up early wasn't the wrong choice. I don't need to talk about the temples as the visit of those is the reason for the trip. But I would really recommend, upgrading the entrance for Borobodur to visit the higher levels of the temple. It's possible again, there's just restrictive entrance. So for an additional 80k (70k for non-foreigners) you get to see the "bells" and have an informative guided tour, slippers included. The view that you get from the Merapi is also worth the trip by Jeep. And it gets a little shaky as well.WM18393

Our Guide and driver Atok was fantastic, he was friendly, informative, helpful and has a great sense of humour. We spent 16hrs wandering through the above sites (and 2 extra smaller temples near Borobudur). Both Borobudur and Prambanan temples are a must see and the schedule worked out very well....

We saw both sunrise and sunset, enjoyed chatting to our local guides at the Volcano (Win) and Prambanan Temple (Dwi), who were both helpful and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about Hinduism and Buddhism and local culture. We highly recommend this tour and Atok.jamesmP5607AX

Our driver and guide Dedhy was really friendly, informative and spoke great English. We enjoyed the volcano tour the most which included being driven in our own private jeep!

My cousin and I went today with Atok. He was absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable, great company, we had an amazing day making the best memories. We saw so much. We would love to have Atok again! He is so attentive would definitely book with him again!
