This was our first visit to Bordeaux and we were surprised that my wife and I were the only people in this tour group, so the entire tour was like a private personal tour guided by Chloe who was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Then we walked around Bordeaux telling stories about culture, music, lifestyle and FOOD!! Lunch and dessert were amazing and I love the attention to detail she took to explain where everything came from. Lunch was nice (lovely conversation with our group) but we simply ordered off a menu as against being told about local dishes, which is more what we were expecting. The dune blanches and chocolate shop were great but maybe the tour should have more small bites in different local shops as against lunch in a restaurant which can be done yourself. Overall we felt it was a lot of money for what was offered, and although we enjoyed it would not be willing to spend the same amount again for what you getWe had fantastic time at Bordeaux with Clemence. We had fantastic time at Bordeaux with Clemence. She was a great guest for this discovery tour. We explored the city center and tasted great wines and food. The plus points was the list of her favorite spots in Bordeaux and in the Gironde that she shared after the visit. On the "could even do better" side, I would recommend to replace one of the sweet stops by a salty one. Why not include a cheese, soup or small portion of magret/foie gras/ham in the program (tapa style).
