We will pick you up at your accommodation in Prague city center between 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Stop At: Bastei Bridge, Basteistrasse, 01824 Lohmen, Saxony Germany
* INCLUDED IN EVERY TOUR* The Bastei bridge is the most popular nature site of the whole Germany and it's a can't miss.. You will enjoy views to table mountains all around, the Elbe river canyon below the bridge and then you can walk through the medieval Neurathen castle ruins making the Bastei site visit complete. Site is part of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Fairly easy to do.

Stop At: Mezní Louka, 405 02 Hřensko, Czechia
Our lunch stop is traditionally at one of the best restaurants in the region. Many of our guests review the lunch as even better than food in Prague. Typical Czech cuisine is served with dishes made from fresh local ingredients. Both vegetarian and vegan options are included as well as meat options. You can choose one drink and one main course from the menu (a la carte style). Local beer is a delicious choice and Czech soft drinks such as Kofola are something to try during your visit.

*DEPENDS ON SELECTED TOUR OPTION* The biggest natural sandstone arch in Europe - that is the Pravcicka Gate. To hike there you will walk some 4 KM in total in a moderate pace. Your reward will be amazing views from many cliff-like viewpoints near the Gate with a view onto Gate itself. Moderate hiking effort required.

*DEPENDS ON SELECTED TOUR OPTION* The Gorges of Kamenice river are another famous highlight of Bohemian Switzerland NP. Sail down the river in a peaceful gondola-style boat and take a photo of the iconic wooden cabin. Easy to do and great for a family trip.

*DEPENDS ON SELECTED TOUR OPTION* Tisa rocks are also know as the filming location of the Chronicles of Narnia movie. Visit this amazing site full of sandstone towers, passageways and long distance views. One of the most popular nature sites in the whole Czechia and definitely our favourite one. Fairly easy to do.

What a wonderful day experiencing the natural beauty of Bohemia and Saxony! Pavla, our excellent guide and driver from Northern Hikes, shared her knowledge and passion as we walked and boated through Kamenice Gorge, toured the quaint village of Schmilke, and surveyed the rock formations and historic bridge at Bastei. A gorgeous international park in the heart of Europe, not to be missed. I traveled solo to Europe in April and this was the last thing I did before I flew home. I certainly saved the best for last. My experience was so positive and exhilarating that I would leave a 10-star review if could. The team at Northern Hikes worked with me for weeks prior to my arrival to determine my needs and my interests--and my fitness and endurance levels. And then they tailored the full day to meet all my expectations--and then some. My guide was Pavla, who is passionate and knowledgeable about her work and her country. She is also simply a great human, which is really important when you're spending a full day one-on-one with a total stranger. She arrived at my hotel exactly on time, with snacks and a smile. She found an extraordinary restaurant for our lunch break--with a farm-to-table menu that was superb. She took me on the paths less traveled. There were no crowds. We saw things I will never, ever forget. My favorite part of the day was the Tisa Rocks Labyrinth. The pace was aggressive but not ridiculous. We paused for photos, for appreciation and for water as needed. It was simply the best experience of my 17-day, 5 country post-Covid European trip. Thank you Northern Hikes.romi00079
