This is an update to a review posted in November. iOutoors contacted me within days and requested I upgrade them to three stars in exchange for a $150 refund. They have stated that the Capt is no longer associated with iOutdoors. The original review is below: First impressions matter. As I walked up to the Captain of the boat to introduce myself, he asked me what I was targeting. As I was about to answer, he interrupted me and said “Don’t say mahi, don’t even think about mahi, they’re 4 miles out — get it out of your head!” Not a good first impression. The mate was a temp, but worked hard to get keep our lines out and baited. The Capt did not say another word to us, instead talking to his mate and using him as a soundboard to speak to us. We spent the entire trip trolling around in front of the inlet we had came out of. No kites, no balloons, no gogs. I told the mate that since it was slow and I had my family in from Jersey if it would be ok to switch to sharks and snap some cool photos the last hour. The Capt did not oblige and continued trolling. They both spent most of their free time on their phones and did not engage us unless we spoke to them first. I’ve been on a lot of charters although we caught some fish; I have to say that this was worst ever. Stay away. Date of experience: November 2019
