Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Pontal do Atalaia, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro 28930-000 Brazil

Pontal do Atalaia is the most beautiful beach in Arraial, going down that wooden staircase, you already see the turquoise blue sea, white sand is very beautiful.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Ilha Do Farol, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro 28930-000 Brazil

Praia do Farol is located on Ilha do Farol.

There is a passage in the southern part of Praia do Pontal do Atalaia that allows access for boats and numerous marine animals, such as turtles, whales and dolphins. It is worth mentioning that the name of the beach and the island itself derives from the presence of two lighthouses installed there.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Forno Beach, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro 574-1004 Brazil

Just imagine a beach located among exuberant vegetation and accessed only on foot — via a trail — or by boat, with blue sea in the style of Caribbean waters or those paradisiacal specimens on a postcard. We are talking about Praia do Forno, located in the municipality of Arraial do Cabo, in the Lagos Region, Rio de Janeiro.
There are 500 meters of white sand, and although it fills up on several sunny days — something VERY characteristic of Rio de Janeiro’s climate — the attraction enchants both visitors who like the excitement and those who prefer calm.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Gruta do Amor, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro Brazil

LOVE CAVE | Gruta do Amor is on the right side of Prainhas do Pontal and can be accessed both by land and by sea. The place is charming because it is at the entrance of a rock and has a sandbar inside. From there it is still possible to contemplate the beautiful Ilha do Farol.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Gruta Azul, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro 28930-000 Brazil

The Blue Grotto is part of the boat trip that takes you to Praia do Farol. The rock formation is just one of the many natural beauties on the route that passes through Cabo Frio Island. The entire path in the open sea is beautiful, with impressive water tones. The Blue Grotto is just one of the beautiful moments, which also count with the waves that break fiercely against the rocks.

Despite its name, the cave can only really be seen in shades of blue at very specific times of the year, when at sunrise the light invades the cave and the reflection of the water transforms the colors of the stone wall. Those who take the boat ride never actually see the phenomenon. On the way to the Blue Grotto, it is also possible to see the crack in the rock where the image of Our Lady is and the hole that would have been formed by the fall of a meteorite.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Crevice of Our Lady of Assumption, Praia dos Anjos, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro 28930-000 Brazil

CUT OF OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION

The Crevice of Nossa Senhora da Assunção, is a rocky crevice, which gives the impression of having been taken a slice of the hill of Ilha do Farol. The story goes that the saint was found in the crevice by a fisherman in 1721, who was taken in a solemn procession to the Nossa Senhora da Assunção church in Cabo Frio, because at that time Arraial do Cabo belonged to Cabo Frio. This crevice is approximately 5 meters wide and 40 meters high.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Pedra Perfil do Gorila, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro 28930-000 Brazil

The PROFILE DO GORILA stone is a natural rock formation close to Boqueirão, which separates the famous Ilha do Farol from Pontal do Atalaia.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia, 4 Km from the City Center, Arraial do Cabo, State of Rio de Janeiro 28930-000 Brazil

Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia

The staircase that gives access to Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia seems to lead to paradise. From the top of the hill, what you see is a paradisiacal setting. It's hard not to be mesmerized by the view at the top of the stairs, from where you can see the white sand, the colorful sea and the green still preserved in the neighboring Ilha do Farol. The descent is steep and there are many steps. Nothing that a little stop for the photos won't help.

It is important not to confuse Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia with Prainha (almost at the entrance to the city) and Praia do Pontal (same strip of sand as Praia do Forte, in Cabo Frio). Prainhas are located on Morro do Pontal do Atalaia and have this name because they are composed of two beaches. When the tide is low, they come together on the same strip of sand and form just one beach.
