As a wildlife photographer I wanted to get the most out of my visit to the Cloudforest Reserve so booked Oscar (Monteverde Wild) as our guide. I couldn’t recommend making use of his expertise any higher. He was informative, clear, fun and hardworking in helping us see the amazing wildlife around. From tarantulas to Quetzals we saw them all. Definitely get a guide tour so you don’t miss out and make that Monteverde WildOscar was an excellent guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the birds in the area and I was amazed by how tuned his ears were in distinguishing different bird calls in the reserve and their direction. Oscar was an excellent guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the birds in the area and I was amazed by how tuned his ears were in distinguishing different bird calls in the reserve and their direction. Another aspect that made me really thankful that I booked with Oscar is that he has an attachment for his phone to be connected to the telescope so that it is easier to see the birds via his phone screen and take pictures of them. I noticed that in other groups, people had to look one by one into the telescope, and some birds don't stay still for very long so it was possible to miss some. I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend him for a tour.Very good experience with Oscar. Very friendly guide, picked us up from the hotel as we didn’t have transportation. Very knowledgeable about the birds but also other animals and plants of the curi cancha reserve. Willing to adapt the tour to our expectations and always have a funny anecdote to tell. Comes with his own telescope and shared the pictures with us at the end. Also gave us great tips for other activities in the area.I had a really great trip with Oscar this morning. He made this personalised tour into an awesome and unique learning experience. He also has high quality equipment which he used to help me take some photos that I never would be able to take on my own. We did 3 private tours with Oscar and it was excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the flora and fauna around. He quickly saw what we like and fully adapted the tour to suit our needs and wishes. He showed us a lot of incredible animals and birds. Communication with him has been very easy and he also gave us some local area tips. We highly recommend him and will definitely use him again if we were back in Monteverde.Really enjoyed our private guided tour with Oscar!
