We have had this on our list to experience for a while. This Labor Day was a new moon and was a perfect opportunity. Our adventure was almost cancelled by a storm in the area, but the team was patient and took us out late instead of cancelling. It was a phenomenal tour and our guide explained what to expect and all about the plankton and bioluminescence due to luciferin. It was fun and a leisurely paddle - there was even a light breeze and NO bugs!! Highly recommend...we will be back again when the jellyfish are present and to hopefully see some dolphins or manatees.Been wanting to try this for a long time, and we're so glad we finally did! Been wanting to try this for a long time, and we're so glad we finally did! Dustin was a phenomenal tour guide, explaining the process the plankton went through to create the beautiful bioluminescence we were paddling through. He also talked about the wildlife and ecosystem we were in, but made it light and fun at the same time. He gave us tips and tricks and fun things to do on our way....and showed us some great spots to watch the fish dart beneath us. Highly recommend....we will be back for a daytime tour through the mangroves!Our first scheduled trip was during a downpour with thunder and lightning. Our first scheduled trip was during a downpour with thunder and lightning. Obviously we didn’t want to be on the water under those conditions and asked for a rain check. The company happily obliged, letting us chose a different date. The night of our tour the moon was bright making the trip extra special for us. Our guide told us the darker the night the better to see the bioluminescence, however we could see the bioluminescence easily. The fish looked liking shooting stars in the water. The oars created little swirls of light as I paddled. Our guide was very knowledgeable . He share some great information about the bioluminescence and the area where we were kayaking. I will definitely encourage others to take this tour!Awesome! Do it - you’ll love it! Our tour guide, Dustin, was great. Boats/equipment were clean and comfortable. Very enjoyable experience.

Bioluminescence was on my bucket list and it did not disappoint! Watching all the wildlife leaving glowing chasers through the water and getting to swim in the experience was a trip! Our guides Zack and Dustin were way knowledgeable and very accommodating. Bring bug spray with you on the boat so you don’t get eaten and Deet Free so you don’t ruin the clear bottom kayaks.
