One of the worst airport experiences I've had lately. There is insufficient desk staff for Delta which causes baggage drop to take forever. The staff are nice but slow. Security is also a nightmare. Also so slow and inefficient. Smaller European airports can manage but somehow Billings cannot. I arrived at the airport with an hour an a half before my flight was scheduled to depart but due their operations, I was literally the last passenger on the flight after running to the gate. Unbeknownst to me, TSA had removed my purse from my carry-on, during an additional screening, and it remained at the airport. I will avoid Billings like the f^&king plague.Another podunk MT airport. Airline counters are closed except just before a departing flight. If you have air freight, forget about dropping by any old time. Don’t even think about arriving a few hours early, checking your baggage and heading to a bar or deli. Simply won’t happen. No outlets...
Another podunk MT airport. Airline counters are closed except just before a departing flight. If you have air freight, forget about dropping by any old time. Don’t even think about arriving a few hours early, checking your baggage and heading to a bar or deli. Simply won’t happen. No outlets in the seats across from check in, so come fully charged. Few amenities by the gates. No name brand eateries or bars. Rental cars are a long walk OUTDOORS. If it’s snowing or raining , you’re in for a treat. Good news, is that baggage arrives quickly, due to so few flights being serviced.Love the small airport and easy access. Car rental is right there. Check in and security is friendly, professional and easy. I left my laptop bag on a seat at gate (helping autistic grandson) at 11:30pm. We got to hotel and realized it was gone. Drove back to airport a solo counter person had it.
