My husband and I had a brilliant time with Jani, exploring the beautiful scenery of the Vipava valley on e-bikes and ending our tour at the wonderful Petric Urban winery. Jani was a fantastic guide, not only telling us lots of interesting info about the area but also answering all our questions and telling us about his life in Slovenia which we loved! The wine tasting experience was excellent and a great moment to meet others enjoying the area. 100% would recommend Wajdusna for a tour - really personal, interesting and lots of fun!! Owner of the place was extremely nice and friendly. He recommended us a beautiful 35km route worth seeing. And he was available on the phone all the time. Mother and Daughter escape - Our first trip to wonderful Slovenia and we wanted to visit the Vipava valley but knew nothing about how to do this with only public transport. We found Jani's contact details and never looked back. We made a phonecall and from that moment on, we had the most incredible personalised service. This included individually planned bike and hike tours, a fabulous wine tour, endless phone calls, recommendations and car transfers. Jani couldn't do enough for us. He was kind, understanding and a mind of local information and contacts for anything that we wanted. Without him, our trip to the Vipava valley would not have been possible - we are so grateful for his care and passion for such a stunning place. Me and my husband were on a roadtrip and the concept was supposed to be ”wine and sports”. Then I got pregnant few months before the trip and had challenges to think of great things to do on our already booked trip. I called Jani few days before we arrived to Vipava Valley and he planned a perfect and not too challenging hike for us. It was definately the best experience on our holiday as Jani is so fun to be around and the nature was incredible. High recommendation! You will also get great restaurant and winery recommendations - thank you Wajdusna! Ps. He also took great photos ❤️
