Located in the center of Bhaktapur Durbar square the 55 window palace, or Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, was built by King Bhupatindra Malla. Today the 55 Window Palace still stands as Bhaktapur's Royal Palace on ceremonial occasions.

Nyatapola Temple is a 5-storeyed Hindu temple. Meaning is Five Storeys Roofed Temple. Pagoda Style temple located in Bhaktapur, Nepal. The temple was erected by Nepali King Bhupatindra Malla during a 7-month period from late 1702 to 1703

Hidden down shop-lined alleyways leading south from the curving road to Taumadhi Tole, Potters’ Sq is exactly what you would expect – a public square full of potter's wheels and rows of clay pots drying in the sun. Nearby buildings were damaged by the 2015 earthquake, but life – and pottery – in the square continues.
This is the centre of Bhaktapur’s ceramic industry, and it’s a fascinating place to wander around. Several shops sell the finished article, and you can see the firing process at the back of the square, which is lined with mud-covered straw kilns

I took a day tour of Kathmandu. Bose the tour operator, contacted me the previous day and kept me informed, so i would be prepared. KApil, the guide was punctual. He explained things in great detail. He did not rush me at any site. As a single lady traveler, i felt very safe.
