We actually did a tour of Israel and Bethlehem. We knew the places we wanted to go and sent this in. It was an individual couple tour not in a large group. Martin was our guide and he did amazing. Joseph was our driver the first day. They picked us up at the port in Haifa after a cruise and we started touring the Northern portion of the country. Martin was very knowledgeable and was able to articulate everything to increase our understanding. We started with Meggito and ended at the Sea of Galilee ( Lake of Tiberius) we did the boat ride and it was all amazing. They took us to our room in Jerusalem. We continued on for three additional days. Martin and remi picked us up each day at our hotel and we began our daily adventures. Martin was able to get us into eat place knowing the schedules and crowd flow. We didn’t know that some of the sites closed for prayer at specific times. He did. We could read and understand some of the information but not everything. He could. He also suggested additional sites that we didn’t know we could go to. So having a guide was and unimaginable help. At the end of each day they brought us back to our hotel. They knew the best ways around traffic when the navigation apps said stay in the traffic. Martin suggested we go to the Church of the Nativity. This was in Bethlehem. We didn’t have this on our itinerary because we knew the situation of some not being allowed and swapping guides and so forth. We had no issues. The line was very long to get in with all the bus tours lined up and others waiting. Since we had a guide and it was just us Martin was able to get us in and out within 30 minutes. The line was over two hours long and they were about to stop for for prayers and a service. So again, having a great guide is essential and Martin was that great guide for us. We started our days around 8-9 AM and were typically finished with all the sites we wanted to see by 2-4 PM. Allowing us plenty of time to walk and explore on our own as well. Remi will be picking us up and taking us to the airport on of final day. So again we suggest having a guide and driver. It takes all the the concerns off. It will cost more, but it is well worth it. We were doing a tour of a site and met a couple that had rented a car and were exploring on their own. They were exploring the site but there were few information posting other than to tell you what it was. They noticed Martin speaking with us and we were all waiting in line to exit Masada. They asked him what something was. Unfortunately they had toured the whole site not know many of the features or important information about it. So again we suggest to you to spend the extra money and get a great guide and driver like Martin, Remi, and Joseph. We also knew other couples that were in country due to the cruise. They were all touring on their own via rentals, walking, public transport, and some in large groups. None of them were able to see everything that we did. So again, get a guide and driver. We are glad we did even if it did cost more. We would do it again. We spent the past 7 days touring Israel with Ibrahim. He took very good care of us and made the trip special. He is very knowledgeable and personable.

We did a 5-day private tour from Jerusalem and a 3-day self guided tour from Tel Aviv-Jaffa. First I have to say our driver, Nabil, was awesome and enduring (we were a handful!), and our guide Read (ray-ed) was excellent and patient. We had to make last minute adjustments to the trip itinerary and the duo was extremely flexible and understanding. We hope on our next visit that we can get the same team to drive and guide us!We traveled for 6 days with our guide Mahmood Amireh and driver Evan Saad who were super friendly, helpful and patient as we learnt about Israel/Palestine. They gave us an insight on food, people, religions and culture, well versed and all in all they made our first trip here most memorable!!
