First, travel to the northern part of the island and visit the well-known village of Oia. Oia, with its picturesque blue-domed churches and breathtaking panoramic views, is one of Europe's most photographed places and a must-see.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Megalochori, Megalochori, Santorini, Cyclades, South Aegean
Leaving from the north, drive through steep hills and dry grassland to reach Megalochori, another traditional village in the island's center. Feel free to stroll the narrow pathways and take photos of the beautiful tiered bell towers along the way. Hundreds of tiny whitewashed houses with graceful architecture, beautiful blue-domed churches, and underground cave dwellings make up this settlement. You will learn about local culture and lifestyle in this picturesque and non-touristic setting.

Stop At: Akrotiri Lighthouse, 84700 Greece
Travel southwest to the Lighthouse. It was built in 1892 and is regarded as one of the best of its kind in the Cycladic Islands, as well as an excellent place to watch the sunset. Walk around it on the cliffs or sit on the rocks by the sea. A significant number of surrounding islands may be visible on a clear day.

Stop At: Red Beach, Akrotiri Greece
Then, travel to Santorini's most famous beach, Red Beach, a unique natural phenomenon, and capture breathtaking images of the volcanic scenery and reddish cliffs.

After a ten-minute drive, arrive at the island's southernmost point and relax on Perivolos' black beach, which features fantastic seaside restaurants and crystal clear waters. You will have time to walk, swim in the Aegean Sea, and eat lunch at a seaside Greek restaurant while you are here (not included).

Stop At: Monastery of Profitis Ilias, Epar. Od. Pirgou Kallistis 3 km from Pyrgo Thira, Moni Profitou Ilia, Moni Profitou Iliou 847 00 Greece
Back on the minivan, driving through vineyard-filled terrain, you'll reach the island's highest point, the monastery of Prophet Elias, at 565 meters above sea level. Sip some wine and sample local products made by the monks who live in this old monastery built in 1711 while admiring the panoramic views of the entire island.
