Overall, Brandon did a nice job as our tour guide. Enjoyed spending time & touring the Alamo as well as seeing the other 4 Missions. Unfortunately, we only had time to tour one of the other missions. The stop & visit to the Tower of the Americas was another good part of the tour as was the drive through the King William neighborhood. Would have nice to spend some walk-around time in the KW neighborhood. The River cruise portion of the tour was the least favorite part for us. Boat was crowded & driver seemed to be just going through the motions. It was late in the day so maybe he was at the end of his shift.Certainly the Pearl District and the incredible rehab and architecture of Hotel Emma.....OK ok, the Alamo of course, San Jose Mission, and the river tour were part of this intro to San Antone too!! Certainly the Pearl District and the incredible rehab and architecture of Hotel Emma.....OK ok, the Alamo of course, San Jose Mission, and the river tour were part of this intro to San Antone too!! As with all of our private tours though, we felt fortunate again as the guide...the "Z-man"/local San Antonian.....really really helped this first time experience to SA. A healthy, well travelled, diverse young buck who had great insights on many levels. For our tastes a great tour.........Our tour guide was nice but we expected more for the amount of money we paid for the 3.5 hr tour we which was supposed to be longer. I would not recommend the tour for $140 a persob or whatever it was we spent. Way too much.
