Our last trip starts right from the door of the restaurant. The descending hike will reveal the beauty of the Kamenice river gorge, the air is very refreshing. The river you walk along is wild at first, but as you approach part of the cruise, it calms down completely. Our guide will tell you all about the river and the local nature. Mystical sailing on a small boat is the last element of our rich day trip. The Kamenice River is the most beautiful and cleanest river in the Czech Republic. During the cruise we can see water birds and many species of fish, even salmon.
At the end of the journey we will reach the picturesque village of Hřensko, where a prepared and rested driver will be waiting for us, who will take you back to Prague, to the place of your accommodation or to your place of choice. Our guide will be happy to recommend a good restaurant, a quiet park or a view of the sunset. At the end of the trip you will also receive a small gift from us, which will say goodbye to you.

The next path will take us across the state border back to the Czech (Bohemia) part of the national park. Our driver will take you as close as possible to the rock monument, then our guide will go with you. This will significantly shorten the time and avoid the uninteresting journey on the asphalt road. After that, we only have a two-kilometer hike to the Pravčická Gate - the largest rock arch in Europe. As you approach it from below, you will see the majesty with which it stands at the top of the surrounding landscape. It is a symbol of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and when you see it, you will know why. Here we will have a local beer in the beautiful and historic restaurant "Falcons nest" and walk through the most beautiful views of the national park and rock monuments. The guide will tell you all about the local flora and fauna. At the end, a driver will be waiting for us again, who will take us towards the local announced restaurant, where we will have lunch.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: 392 01 Mezná-Soběslav, Czechia
Within walking distance of the Pravčická gate is our traditional Czech and locally renowned restaurant. A rich "a la carte" lunch will be a welcome and a well deserved reward after a hike to the arc. Traditional Czech and international dishes are served (vegetarian options). We strongly recommend trying Czech beer, which is one of the best in the world. This restaurant is very popular with locals and has the best reputation in Bohemian Switzerland. We are always very welcome in this restaurant and we have a pre-booked table in the best place, which will be waiting for you set before our arrival. In the kitchen we also have an advantage over other guests, so waiting for food is significantly shorter. From here, a simple descent down the old sandstones awaits us, towards the beautiful Edmund's gorge. Our experienced guide will be with you at all times and will be happy to take care of you and answer every question about the national park and the local nature.

A perfect day in a magical place. We took our trip to Bohemian Switzerland and Saxony near the tail end of our Prague stay and it was loved by adults, teens and primary schoolers alike. The sandstone rock formations and giant arch are very similar to those in southern Utah’s national parks, only with yellow-gray rock and set in a temperate forest. The guides, especially Josef, are knowledgeable about both the natural and cultural history of the entire area, and they’re exceedingly attentive to your needs. There is a combination of easy and challenging hikes, great food, and beautiful scenery from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a one-of-kind break from the cobblestones and crowds of Prague. We had a amazing time Joseph and Paul were wonderful Good driver Delicious lunch Breathtaking scenery

I don't have the proper words to describe how amazingly wonderful this excursion was for my wife and me. We started at 07:00am and, as soon as my wife and I walked out of our flat, Joseph and Kat were waiting for us right outside with big smiles and warm hearts. We were ushered into a relaxing van with more then enough room for 6 guests and were given water, snacks, and free wifi the entire way. The excursion was beyond amazing. There were 6 of us in the group and, as luck would have it, the day was sunny and beautiful. The three locations we visited were breathtaking and although some hiking is involved (definitely wear comfortable shoes or hiking boots and be ready to walk), Kat was very kind and patient as she waited for the guests to walk to the views at their pace while providing thoughtful and informative conversation the entire way. Only two things didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped...both of which were not in the guides control. First, my wife and I are vegetarian and so when we went for the lunch meal, they had A (singular...one) veggie option of fried cheese and a salad...so perhaps not the most extensive menu for non-meat eaters and definitely bring snacks for vegans. Second, when going on the boat sailing toward the end, it is a boat that sits about 26 guests, and the operators do not leave the dock until the boat is full. Although our guide Kat made sure our group was in the position of boarding the boat first, for whatever reason, the boat operator refused to let us on initially and instead allowed a family with a dog to cut to the front of the queue and board first...having us in the end sitting at the very back of the boat with the worst views. We were not happy but this had nothing to do with the guides or the tour company and still Kat apologised to us afterwards which was very kind. Overall though, this was a beyond amazing excursion and my wife and I would definitely recommend taking this trip with Uniline...and requesting for Joseph and Kat as guides to share it with you too...And if you could, say hello to them for us from Terrence and Luiza!!! 🙏😁We loved the tour and would recommend it to everyone who loves hiking and the nature. Our guide Joseph and also the driver Paul were super friendly and planed an amazing day. We are very glad that we booked that tour. Thank you!
