This truly is the best bike tour on Maui. I am the owner and I guide as many tours as I can, most of them. We have it down, we are safe, fun and you should do this if you're considering because you will love it!
This is a guided, downhill bike tour along the slopes of Haleakala, entirely on very nice, paved roadways.
There is a max of 6 guests on each tour. That's as good as it gets in this industry.
We provide high quality, light weight helmets.
Starting outside of Haleakala National Park, you'll ride through an expansive open cattle ranch with bi-coastal views of Maui. It is incredible!
A chase van blocks cars so you are able to ride in the middle of the lane on the roadways. Using our coordinated traffic system, cars will never be directly behind you when you are on the bike. We are very entertaining, professional, attentive and laid back, we love what we do and it shows on every tour.
We stop along the way to take pictures, talk about the history of the area, pet horses, snack on local food, etc.
You'll be able to enjoy the ride at a pace you're comfortable with, to the extent that it's a safe speed. We even watch all your things for you while you're riding.

Getting taken up above the clouds and buzzing down the mountain around 15 MPH turns and past awesome scenery while being led by Billy and John in a small group while one of them led the group and the other drove the van. John and Kyle were excellent. My kids and husband had a blast going super fast, I on the other hand was so slow. John stayed behind me with the truck the whole time. Would definitely recommend for families with teens.

Today consisted of a 25 mile downhill bike ride. We were taken to the top of Haleakalā where we coasted down at speeds of 20-30mph. The views were absolutely stunning and we got to smell fresh flowers and eucalyptus on the way down. The upcountry has been my favorite thus far. There are cows, goa...
Today consisted of a 25 mile downhill bike ride. We were taken to the top of Haleakalā where we coasted down at speeds of 20-30mph. The views were absolutely stunning and we got to smell fresh flowers and eucalyptus on the way down. The upcountry has been my favorite thus far. There are cows, goats, and sheep that are free range. It reminded me a lot of the pictures of Ireland that I've seen. They took us through 2 cool little towns [Paia & Makawao]. Of course there were some animal encounters. Our guide found a Jackson's Chameleon and we got to hold her. She was absolutely beautiful. Then he also found a tiny bird nest that he had seen yesterday and there were eggs. Well, TODAY THEY HAD HATCHED!!! They were the tiniest baby birds I've ever seen. Had a great day thanks to Maui Easy Riders! Would recommend 10/10. Safety was their #1 priority and they were super cool guys. Thank you John and Kyle! If you're ever in Maui, definitely use them. When we come back, we will be doing this again for sure.
