Checkpoint Charlie was one of Berlin's border crossings through the Berlin Wall between 1961 and 1990, connecting the Soviet and American sectors in Friedrichstrasse between Zimmerstrasse and Kochstrasse, thus linking the East Berlin district of Mitte with the West Berlin district of Kreuzberg.

Peter was our tour guide and he was amazing! He gave us so much information about the city, it was truly incredible. Would highly recommend doing to see the main attractions.

This is very good way to see the city, especially as Berlin is too big for walking. Tour guide was experienced and very considered. Also suitable for younger children if they can bike (8+). Bikes are good and you can get a helmet and water if you prefer. One longer stop underway to sit at a cafe.

We had a super enthousiastic guide (dutch speaking) for a dutch speaking tour along the most memorable Berliner siteseeings. Relaxed athmosphere and a lot of information, also in the form of questions (no exam stress). A very nice 4 hours of biking and siteseeing and info.
