What to expect
You will have a unique experience in the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve and learn from the best instructors the technique of traveling on the waves, in classes lasting 2 hours, where we will make out of water, a brief presentation of the history of surfing, material to use, safety rules, learning to stand on the board with the correct movements, warm up and finally put that knowledge into practice in the ocean for approximately 1 ½ hours.

My girlfriend and I found Ericeira waves via our hotel when we asked them for the best local surf teachers. My girlfriend a beginner and me an intermediate surfer with some experience both looking to improve technique. We found the perfect teachers in Luis (beginners) and Bruno (intermediate and up). They take you to the best spots of the day, do everything to make you better and make sure you have a fun experience. The teachers are nice and down to earth and breathe the surfing vibe. On the last day of our holiday the guys were very kind to help us get our luggage from the hotel to Rhibeira beach so we could take a taxi to the airport after the last surf lesson. Very kind. Then when we grabbed the taxi in a rush I forgot my wetsuit on the parking lot. When Bruno found out, he drove back to Rhibeira to get it for me!! Shows how chill these guys are. Great company, the best choice if you go surfing in Ericeira 100%.Hi had 3 lessons with Ericeira Waives, which I can recommend to anyone. All three coaches (Luis, Miguel and Bruno) are very friendly and have surf experience for decades. Biggest advantage is the size of the group. Biggest advantage is the size of the group. We haven’t been more than 3 people, which felt like a private session. Hi can highly recommend Ericeira Waives.We enjoyed 5 days surf lessons with the entire family: 2 adults and three kids (18,14,10). Great experience with a kind and lovely team. The team was very engaged and even helped us with restaurant reservations, etc. We all enjoyed this experience and decided to come back 2020.
