Bayahibe E-Bike Tour
Overview
Then we make a visit to the public beach enjoying a beautiful landscape until arriving at Cotubanama Park. There we will walk a beautiful path that takes us to a cave that was used by the Taíno Indians in pre-Columbian times. In the interior of the cave there is a spring of crystalline waters in which we can freshen up.
Then we make a short walk along a path where we can appreciate several plants of our flora and a typical kiln to make coal.
We return to the bicycle and end up leaving the park where our tour ends. Note: you can select the tour in electric mtb or normal mtb.

En la visita al parque Nacional Cotubanamá, conocerán la flora y fauna de la zona, así como nuestra flor Nacional, "La Rosa de Bayahíbe". Luego caminaremos por un hermoso sendero hasta llefgar a la cueva Chicho, lugar sagrado de Los Taínos con un hermoso cenote.

Visitaremos la playa pública de Bayahíbe, el pueblo de Bayahíbe y sus manantiales.

A big problem was that my ebike was broken or the battery was loose. It kept working for a few seconds but then turned off so for most of the tour I had to cycle without support and the ebikes plus batter...
We enjoyed the itinerary and biking along the beach and on nature trails through the forest. A big problem was that my ebike was broken or the battery was loose. It kept working for a few seconds but then turned off so for most of the tour I had to cycle without support and the ebikes plus battery are really heavy! In general the bike could need some maintenance. The tour guide was very friendly. The trails are quite uneven with puddles and stones, so don't wear your best or white shoes as they get dirty, especially if there was a rainy shower the night before.Nice, the bike ride quite easy and not much a challenge, the cave visit and the guide very passionate about the environment and the life and nature and Dominican Republic, nice experience!
