What to expect
We'll start this experience fist of all introducing about Batik and some tools which we will use, and also the way to do properly. Then We will learn how to make batik until the end of process in handkerchief size or tote bag (with bit extra cost), then you can take directly the result as a souvenirs. This workshop will led by the master batik in Prambanan. Our location close to the temple so while waiting the batik dry after coloring process you can leave it to enjoy the temple

Great fun! Neither of us had ever done batik before, and they gave us detailed guidance. Very relaxing activity. Friendly helpful team. The location (in the middle of a residential neighborhood) is something of a surprise - I was convinced we were lost until we arrived. One suggestion is to come with an idea of what batik you want - I hadn't thought about it, so I used one of their existing designs, but wish I had prepared myself.I enjoyed this class so much! It was great to see this traditional process and get to try it. Everyone was so helpful at each step. They also offered snacks and drinks which were delicious and brought me to a nearby temple while I waited for my bag to dry. Definitely recommend!

It was an eye-opening experience learning about the different types of batik prints and the process of batik making. Painting my own batik piece from scratch was surprisingly challenging yet incredibly therapeutic. I've truly developed a newfound respect for batik professionals and their dedication to the craft!Making Batik was so much fun!! I got an opportunity to design my own piece which represents by trip to Indonesia. I marked it out with wax, choose the colours and filled it in. I love it!!! Citra and Mrs. Titik gave great guidance and were really helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.
