What to expect
We'll do the kayaking and snorkeling in Balandra, and then hike from Balandra into Tecolote. We'll stop at beautiful beaches and snorkel in a rocky reef. The snorkeling and kayaking part of the day takes around 2 hours.The hike is 9 km on rocky and sandy terrain, with some sections where we might get wet if the tide is high. On average it takes 2.5 hours. We'll walk through a desert patch, rocky hills, cliffs by the ocean, sandy beaches and intertidal zones. Get ready for spectacular views! We'll finish the hike in Tecolote beach and we'll have lunch, and rest until 3 pm. We use tandems sit on top kayaks, and we bring life jackets with us. The kayaks are recommended to up to 90 kilos per person. We'll close the day with a delicious lunch at the beach of local and fresh ceviche. Ask for our vegan options! The day requires an intermediate fitness level, and we recommend booking on non-windy days.

Fantastic tour! The hike was spectacular and unlike any other hiking experience I've had before (over desert rock/gravel, across empty beaches, through intertidal areas with overhanging rock). The kayak and snorkel were also lots fun and the corals and fish are amazing. What really makes the tour special are the great guides. Daleth and Lorenza were sorry friendly and knowledgeable and even more professional. They picked us up at our hotel in downtown La Paz in the morning and dropped us off at the end of the day (free of charge but we tipped well). This is the perfect outing to supplement the sea lion / whale shark tours and gives a really unique, local perspective on the famous Balandra Beach and La Paz in general.I think this was the best plan we could’ve done to get to know Balandra, hiking, walking through secret spots and then a delicious ceviche at pichilingue, also the kayak and snorkeling was amazing

Daleth and Andrea were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
