Cross the second Worlds Longest Suspension Footbridge, walk the Paiva Walkways (downhill), visit Aveiro and Costa Nova.
The Paiva Walkways is a 7 km boardwalk zig-zagging down along the left bank of Paiva river at Arouca Geopark, a UNESCO Geological site.
The Arouca 516 Footbridge spans 516m-long (1, 692ft) across the valley and hangs 175m (576ft) above the Paiva River. Will you dare?
After the walk, another highlight of our day: a delicious meal at a typical restaurant in a small countryside slate stone village. (meat, fish or vegetarian options available).
Afternoon in Aveiro - the so called “Portuguese Venice” - explore the old quarter, the main squares and see the fish market.
Enjoy a boat trip over the canals on the traditional river boats and discover the charming city through the canals.

Stop At: 516 Arouca - Ponte Suspensa, Canelas, Arouca 4540-257 Portugal
After departing from Porto towards Arouca, we will do a short stop for breakfast and toilets.
Afterwards, the adventure starts!
Go across one of the longest Suspension bridges of the World!
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Paiva walkway, Arouca Portugal
The Paiva Walkways is a stunning 7 km boardwalk zig-zagging downhill along the left bank of Paiva river at Arouca Geopark, a UNESCO Geological site.
Notice: we only walk downhill and you can also walk only half of the trail - 3, 5Km. (you will be able to decide that on on the day trip)

Stop At: Arouca, Arouca, Aveiro District, Northern Portugal
After the walk, a great meal is needed and lunch is another highlight of our day!
You will be amazed with our traditional lunch option at local and typical restaurant!

Stop At: Aveiro, Aveiro, Aveiro District, Northern Portugal
After a recovering nap while driving to Aveiro, we will discover the Venice of Portugal.
You will have some free time and stroll around the canals on a beautiful boat trip.

- Only children 6+ years old can cross the Bridge and must be accompanied by an adult
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

- Notice: Right before our walk starts, we need to go through a winding road over the Paiva mountain. If you have car motion sickness problems, we advise you to have a tablet or a pill to help with that issue.
